Another vehicle, and quick question on Paint

It was brought to my attention that one of the main vehicles I used for promotional imagery and featured in ads and prominently at the top of the Kickstarter was never included in a stretch goal. DOH! I guess this is what happens when you have 400 models to manage for one project. Well worry not, the ship will be included in the 'vehicle' category for backers, and I'll actually even be detailing the cockpit and making an optional pilot / separate window (fixed window with no interior will also be an option). I give you - one of my favorite models from the campaign - the "Finch" Long Range Shuttle:
I'm working on getting all the fun logistics and BackerKit setup and surveys will go out mid/late next week most likely. In the interim, if you added funds for, or plan on adding the curated paint set from Cuddlefish Colors, can you do me a solid and please drop a comment in here so I can have Ryan start slaving away to pre-package enough sets to ship fast? Cheers!
Kickstarter Successful! Now what?

Thank you all so much for an awesome, successful campaign! We unlocked every stretch goal and had a hell of a good time doing so! I am very thankful for an amazing community and support of backers - without all of you these projects wouldn't end up seeing the success they have, and I'm very excited to deliver to you hundreds of easy-to-print, but great looking files without breaking the bank!
I wanted to take a minute to outline next steps for those of you who have never participated in one of my Kickstarters before, and answer a few common questions. Here goes...
When Can I get the Files?
Kickstarter takes 2 weeks to collect payment from backers and hand it over to me. This is to account for failed card transactions and the like (which does happen). In that 2 week period I will be working to finalize/test/finish as many of the files as I can, and organize them in the final folder structure. Once Kickstarter releases the funding to me, I will make the files that are ready available to all backers. I'm estimating that at that time 60-75% of the included files will be finished and ready to print.
I always created a google doc that outlines all the files included, and their state of completion and when they were last updated. I use Dropbox to deliver files, and encourage folks to only download specific parts they want to print as the files are being finished, since there's inevitably a few repairs/tweaks here and there. I continually update the google doc as more files are added to the Dropbox and will alert everybody when all the file are finished and the set can be downloaded as a whole.
Where do I access the Files when they are ready? And How can I choose/add new Add-ons?
I use BackerKit as a pledge manager. This will be setup over the next ~1.5 weeks or so. When ready you will be emailed a link and I'll post an update on here with access info as well. In BackerKit you'll see any additional funds you pledged beyond your pledge price, and can use those funds to choose add-ons you want. You can also add additional funds to purchase add-ons you did not account for in your pledge. Backerkit is also where the links to the reward files will be shown/delivered to you. Please note that there is no need to tell me which add-ons you wanted or pledged for, you handle all of this in BackerKit.
Feedback, Sharing, Etc
As part of all my campaigns, I setup a FB group for backers to share pics, ask questions, etc. I am a one-man operation so need to focus my time/energy, so apologies if you aren't a FB user but I only have time to manage a community on one social network. The FB group is the best place to ask about issues, share print photos, and more - but you can always message me on here or comment with feedback as well, or email me at [email protected]. I'll be setting up and sharing the FB group around the time the files are released.
What's next for EC3D?
So many cool things!
Community (Treasure)Chest: Vol 2: If you're into fantasy gaming too, I just launched a charitable project for a wandering troupe with a dark secret - it's pledge what you can, 40% goes to charity, and you get the files right away. Check it out HERE:
Space ships! In ~1 month or so I'll be launching a smaller KS for space-combat scale ships, critters, satellites, stations and so much more - perfect for games like A Billion Suns, Starfinder, Full Thrust, etc. We'll also be doing a companion PDF (and maybe physical book) with pro-painted imagery to match the ships and stat blocks for Starfinder. So look for that soon!
MORE scifi goodness: The follow on project to the Ignis Quadrant is already under development and will feature a rough-and-tumble spaceport town as the main setting. Expect TONS of mini to fill out the world (shopkeepers, arms dealers, bounty hunters and more), a few LARGE space ships with awesome features and detail, and of course tons of scenery to match it all. Timeline isn't clear on this one yet but I'm hoping for a launch around end of summer or so. I'm interested in all your ideas for this one.
The best way to keep up to date with all my new projects, see free models I post, and more is to follow EC3D on Faceboook. Alright, with this epic KS concluded I'm gonna go sit in the sun and have a beer before I get back to work. Thank you all again IMMENSELY for your support. Cheers!
TWO stretch goals unlocked - onto the final one!

I'm just getting back from travel, so sorry for the delay. We unlocked a TON in the last 48 hrs, check it out;
Scenery Added: We added a set of spaceship scatter item, including a modular crate and container, cable reel, work table, scanner, and a 3D printer - these were requested by one of the winners of the paint contest, and should help flesh out your ships and other locales. We also added SIXTEEN items to make an epic bio ship/station/lair/etc. I have 2 generic vents to spice up buildings, indicate underground stations, and more - I'm gonna add these 2 vents to Thingiverse tomorrow. I recently found an awesome creator on Thingiverse (GrimGreeble) who makes tons of sweet alien plants, and I commissioned him to make 2 sets of new ones for us. Check out his Thingiverse profile for many, many more free ones.
Minis Added: by popular request, we have posed seated generic space folk for all the vehicles that have seats (hover bikes, cruisers, etc) and I made an effort to have passengers for all the vehicles after I realized it was important to folks. There will be some generic seated ones for your other un-manned vehicles too (note that these will probably need support to print). We get the awesome fantasy-turned-scifi "cyber eye beast' too. We also realized we haven't done any big critters for a while, and I wanted something large that could swarm/attack the players in vehicles or ships, so we made an awesome large flying alien beastie
Vehicles Added: Two final vehicles to round out the TWENTY EIGHT vehicle fleet. first is the Ergo 'Family Cruiser" - perfect for getting groceries or outrunning bounty hunters. Second is the "EXPLOR-2" buggy, the companion to the "EXPLOR-1" Rover truck. The buggy seats two and is perfect for recon missions, and exploring new planets.
Hope you all love the new items as much as I do - and are happy with the immense amounts of stuff we unlocked for your hard-earned pledge money! We are heading into the final 37 hrs, so now is the time to help share it on any/all RPG, wargaming, etc groups, forums, twitter, or anywhere to help spread the love and get that final stretch goal unlocked for us all!
Droid Factory Unlock

More stuff! YES!
For minis we added some new "Fuzzy" aliens (you Starfinder players might enjoy these fellas), and a rolling mechanic/factory bot. There's all kinds of items to produce your droid (or any type) of factory, with some robotic arms, oil bath, conveyor, terminal, parts bin, and a bunch of droids in various states of repair/packaging. The vehicle added is a big 'ol mobile crusher or mover (depending on your needs). Hope you like it all! We're heading into the last few days, and I (and I assume you too) hope we get the final few stretch goals unlocked, so please share/spread the word if you can.
Just another quick note, I'll be traveling fo the next few days and will have limited access to my computer but I'll try to check in on the campaign when I can, and maybe post some updates if possible, but I'll be back online late Fri and will update any missing stretch goal info, so please be patient if we have a few unlocks and don't see updates until Fri night. Cheers!
Scatter for Intergalactic Council + Paint Contest Winner Request #1

Wanted to post a quick update. I see in the last 5 mins we unlocked yet another stretch goal, the models for which I hope to show renders for later tonight, but for now II wanted to show the scatter/scenics we put together for the last stretch goal, and share a mini that was added by request from one of the paint contest winners. Check it all out below
For the council, we have LOTS of stuff - this was a big one. We have some modular art-deco inspired pieces (including a big backdrop with a fountain, some various statue/column items, a dais, and some podiums for the council). Also there's a floating booth for the councilors to watch from as they deliberate on galactic matters. There's also some various plant decor items, a turret to keep them safe, a large monitor/video column for broadcast and sharing galactic news, and a large floor-mounted holo map to how portions of the galaxy. The mini added is a "bird-man" type scout inspired by a common race in Starfinder/Pathfinder.
